Will it work on my spa?
REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLING A
VACUSEAL LIFTER or a SPAEASE 200 LIFTER
On a Hot Tub or a Swim Spa
- The radius of any spa corner where a Mounting Bracket is to be installed
must be 16” or less. (See Fig 1)
Radius corners from 13” to 16” require and Extension Bracket. (See Fig 2) - On the side where your cover is raised you need a rear clearance of at least 7” on a SpaEase 200 Lifter and 9” on a VacuSeal Lifter. (See Fig 3)
- For Installing Mounting Brackets on a SpaEase 200 or a VacuSeal Lifter
A) A flat level cabinet surface of 4” x 24” is required for proper attachment. (See Fig 4)
B) A Side Clearance from the cabinet of 3.5” is required.
a. For the ConvertALift the Side Clearance becomes 5”.
C) A Clearance below the spa coping of 4” is required. (See Fig 4)
a. For the ConvertALift the Clearance becomes 14”. (See Fig 5)
SIZE REQUIREMENTS FOR HOT TUBS
- For Standard Cover Sizes both sides must be 96” or less. But the “B” Side must be greater than 63”. (See Fig 6)
- For Spas longer than 96” but not greater than 132” (11’) a Tri-Fold Cover can be used on a VacuSeal Cover only. (See Fig 7)
SIZE REQUIREMENTS FOR SWIM SPAS
- The maximum width is 96” and the maximum length is 264” (8’ x 22’).
- If the swim spa is longer than 192” (16’) a Tri-Fold Cover is required on one or both sides. (See Fig 8)
